Our pot holders are made from pure cotton fabrics with two layers of cotton batting inside. Machine pieced and quilted for durability. The edge binding is applied by hand, the small neat stitching appears on the reverse side. This ensures a smooth, sturdy finish for the cotton or poly-cotton bias tape.

pieced crazy quilt tops
solid cotton print reverse

Each one is unique in patchwork
design, prints and size. There are
no hanging loops. A loop can get
caught on handles, knobs, serving
utensils and fingers, causing injury
from spilling or touching hot stuff.
The reverse of each pot holder is
made of one of the cottons featured
on the top. It is one solid piece of
fabric. Coordinating fabric themed
sets of identical size can be custom
ordered.
Nothing looks more country kitchen home than a multitude of bright patch
work pot holders stacked on the counter, buffet or table. In our home they are
everywhere. Under glasses and bowls on the wooden table instead of coasters.
We use them under hot bowls of soup while [oh, no!] eating and watching a
movie. Under freezing bowls of ice cream they absorb the condensation and
stop fingers cramping while at your leisure under the summer sun. Freshen
them up by washing and drying like any cotton garment or tea towel.
