Quilted Pot Holders

Our quilted pot holders are all unique. Each one is made of a
crazy patchwork of pure cotton fabrics on one side and on the
other a solid piece of one of the front fabrics. Filled with two
layers of pure cotton batting they are then machine quilted
before being bound in cotton. The cotton edge binding is applied
by hand, look closely at the picture below to see the small neat
hand stiches.

dogs, horses, farm animals, or just go with a colour such as
summer in blues or Christmas in reds.

absorbs drips and spills. Just
machine wash and dry for a
good as new look.
Larger Crazy Quilted Pieces for Your Home
The term "crazy quilting"
came about in the Victorian
Era. It was a means of using
every scrap of fabric.
Based in practicality and
economy it soon was raised
to an art form by both poor
and rich women alike. It
was a way to show case
your fabric collection and
your abilities.
Each crazy quilted item is made of cotton prints
carefully pieced together for a one of a kind top layer.
The backing layer is always a solid piece of one of the
front cotton fabrics. The batting that is quilted
between the two layers is either cotton or a mixture of
cotton and bamboo fibers.
Each is unique despite the fact the same prints may be
used. The top picure is of a table or dresser runner.
The lower picture although shown as a hanging can
also be used as a table topper.
