These are my earth-casted garden planters. In making them, I use organic and mineral ingredients ONLY, and I make each one by hand. Thus, no two planters are ever identical. Each one is unique. Unlike commercially available garden planters, my planters do NOT contain any fiberglass, or synthetic, or recycled materials. Additionally, these plant pots can be disposed of normally or, just like unglazed terracotta planters, they can be broken down with a hammer or mallet. For winter storage, treat these planters just like unglazed terracotta plant pots. Please store them in cool, dry place such as a garden shed or garage. If there is a danger of freezing in storage, then empty them entirely and allow one week to dry completely before winter storage. During this summer, the summer of 2009, please check this page regularly for new garden planter designs and many other earth casted garden accessories I am creating. Please click on the photos for a larger view of each planter. Thank you! John
This is what an earth casted garden planter looks like one day after molding. It is still wet, and take time to cure.
This earth casted garden planter has dried for one week. Note the colour change.
This is the same type of planter with a variety of garden herbs planted in it. I water it daily.
This rectangular planter is one of my other popular designs...
And here is the same planter with a variety of seasonal flowers.
